Founder and Head Baker
After developing a love for baking in her parent's kitchen growing up, Erica headed off to college where she got her first taste of what it's like to work in a professional kitchen when she began working at Flour & Salt in Hamilton, NY. After graduating, Erica knew she wanted to stay in the world of food and tried her hand at a food-related corporate job. During that time she continued working in the kitchen too, trailing at some of her favorite NYC bakeries like Smith Canteen and teaching baking classes at DŌ. Eventually she decided it was time to break out her stand mixer and head back to baking full time. In early March of 2020 she packed her bags and headed to Philly, where she was to start her new job as a busser at Zahav. And then the pandemic hit.
After a quick pivot, she opened a delivery and shipping business for her baked goods and is teaching virtual baking classes. Erica loves trying new recipes and sharing her creations with anyone who will try them. She believes in making baking accessible and enjoyable for all.
When she's not in the kitchen, Erica loves eating tahini and playing with her sister's dog Charlie.
